||5 Sided Precast Prison Cell|
Oldcastle Precast offers a 5-sided, monolithic, structural precast concrete prison cell for the construction of correctional, detention and jail facilities. The precast cells are custom manufactured to your requirements. The precast cell building method is an equal-fast track, but alternative solution to conventional construction
||Precast Cell with Balcony|
In a precast concrete cell , a concrete balcony piece is cast as part of the cell module. This way, when the cells are stacked next to each other they create not only a row of housing, but also the tiers that inmates and correctional officers walk on.
||Prison Cell with Rear Chase|
A rear chase is added to a precast concrete cell when the facility owner wants the maintenance personal to have access to the mechanical systems without having to disrupt the prison population's daily routines. A rear chase area runs along the exterior back wall of a row of cells. An insulated exterior wall is then constructed to enclose the rear chase area.
||Prison Cell - Quad Modules|
:The cell modules may contain two or four cell units, called double and quad modules respectively. A quad module is shown in Figure 4. The module consists of external walls on all sides and a roof slab cast monolithically. Openings for cell doors, embeds and amenities are set at the time of casting. The exterior walls exposed to the weather are insulated. Electrical ducts, plumbing and other mechanical ducts are embedded in the concrete and placed through the triangular chases shared between two adjacent cells. Bunks, toilets and other amenities are fixed to the cells with tamper-proof bolts
